What to Expect From Your First Day of Training

Starting a new course can feel like a big step, especially if you're new to professional detailing or thinking about turning it into a business. Here's a quick look at what your first day with us actually looks like.

You'll start at our working studio in Auchterarder - not a classroom, but the same space where ACC Valeting & Detailing carries out real customer work day to day. After a walkthrough of the plan for your course, we'll get straight into hands-on practice.

Every technique is first demonstrated, then practised by you under close guidance, refined with feedback, and eventually carried out independently as your confidence builds. You'll be working on real vehicles throughout, not demo panels or write-off cars, so everything you learn transfers directly to real-world conditions.

Alongside the technical side, we also cover the business side of detailing where relevant to your course - things like pricing, target markets, and what it actually takes to run a detailing operation, drawn from our own experience running ACC.

By the end of your course, whatever length you've chosen, the goal is simple: you leave with real skills, real confidence, and a clear idea of what's next, whether that's improving your own car care routine or taking your first steps into a detailing business.
